The first of the Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) started going up on the first 3 High Street Units of the Dunedin High Street Co-housing Passive House project this week. The concrete pad was poured for the next 3 units.
The ground remediation work has continued on the Alva Street units’ site and the plumbing and drainage work has been completed for the first 3 units .
The windows for the Common House are ready for installation. The windows are uPVC ( unplasticised polyvinyl chloride)and are triple glazed. This type of window was chosen due to its longevity, thermal efficiency and sound insulation.
