Te Kiteroa Lodge, an Edwardian homestead that once served as a haven for farmers’ wives, is getting a new lease of life, being rebuilt as an eco lodge after it was destroyed by fire in 2021.
Owners, Ann and Gary, are now looking at the property’s next evolution, beginning construction on the newly named Te Kiteroa Eco Lodge in 2024, with the expertise of eHaus Waitaki.
“It’s an honour to rebuild Te Kiteroa and be a part of the rich history of Waimate. I’m excited that guests of Te Kiteroa Eco Lodge will have the opportunity to experience the comfort of an eHaus.”
