Nestled in the heart of the Tukituki valley sitting on a vantage point is this beautiful home. To ensure the home takes advantage of the surrounding landscape incorporated into the design are two elevated covered decks on the east and west, these give access to the local vista and offer that all important alfresco dining. The decks are accessed via high performance window joinery that ensures the performance of the home is optimal whilst ensuring great indoor outdoor flow.
"We stumbled across the ads for the [eHaus] presentation in Hawkes Bay one evening so went along, and it just made sense. The tradies have all been really particular, great eye for detail. We are very happy with how the process has been and very impressed with the workmanship."
Every one of our projects are energy modelled using the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP). It's through this powerfully clever tool that we can accurately calculate just how much heat energy every eHaus will save when compared to a similarly- sized typical new home, built in the same climate region.
We believe that our homes should have a big impact on the way we live, but little impact on the land. We've calculated the amount of carbon our homes have saved through energy efficiency from move in day 'til now. At their core, eHaus' are built with the elimination of carbon emissions in mind - so we're not only creating healthy, comfy & high performing homes, but spaces that don't cost the earth.
