Waikato Te Kauwhata Non-certified, eHaus Euro, Passive House Plus


Set in the rolling hills of the Waikato this beautiful off the grid family home ticks all of the boxes. After significant research and gaining confidence from a friend that had built an off the grid eHaus in Manawatu, the owners made the decision to go for it and engaged the eHaus Waikato team.  The clever design of the system means the owner is able to continue with his hobbies which incredibly includes welding which the system copes without any issues. These owners are living the dream in this amazing high performing home generating its own power.

Every one of our projects are energy modelled using the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP).
