Explaining the 'how' behind the design and construction of an eHaus is a little complicated.
So, we developed a fun animation that we think does a pretty good job of explaining it.
Energy efficiency doesn’t happen by accident - it’s our number one goal right from the design phase.

Our ‘We live like” statement sums up who we are as a business and what we believe.
We love this slice of paradise that we call home, and we don't take our responsibility to protecting lightly. As a company, we are committed to making sure that the homes we create leave only a little impact on the land that we live in. From our on-site waste management to selecting products that utilise sustainable packaging, we do what we can to make sure that our footprint is light, and our impact is great.

Every year in August we have a national conference – it’s a fantastic weekend with all 19 of our regions coming together to learn from each other and industry experts.

Steve and Susie Hofmans provide exceptional leadership. Their calm, methodical, but strong and measured approach gives them natural authority, providing clients with total confidence in their projects. Also 2021 House of the Year Regional Supreme winner and 2 in the top 100 at the nationals - just saying!

Cooperative Award - eHaus Waikato

Ross & Julie Brown are the epitome of demonstrating our Co-operative Value. Forming lasting partnerships is at the very heart of their business. eHaus Waikato truly value people and the role each plays in their overall success.

Innovative Award - eHaus Whanganui District

Simon Penn and his team have the passion and drive to strive for the best in everything they do. Tackling the big projects, Simon has the vision and innovation to see the future of his region and leading the way in thinking big. The whole team’s approach to be trusted and being accurate is their mantra “Doing what we say we will” is lived every day.

Excellence Award - eHaus Manawatu

Warren Dunn – 2021 Regional Supreme Award winner for House of the Year with three homes recognised in the top 100 nationally is just outstanding. What a winning team. Warren's drive for excellence is a hallmark of his approach and the awards a testament to their success.

eHaus DesignHaus - Designer Award

Vlada Acimovic has been with eHaus since 2017, arriving from Serbia where he was a leading designer, engineer of energy efficiency, urban planner, and project manager. Vlada is now recognised as an award-winning designer of the 2021 House of the Year supreme home in Taranaki.

Well done team.

Our newest region eHaus Waitaki/Mackenzie are well underway, with Mike and his team at McBrimar Homes throwing open the doors on their first eHaus Open Construction Day.
This home is targeting Passive House certification making it a first for the region.
Nothing beats the power of seeing and experiencing the difference of an eHaus and the mechanics behind how they are constructed and designed.

eHaus is a Participant of the SUPERHOME Movement whose activities and events provide open-source sharing of new design ideas, technologies, and building techniques. Connecting leading experts with homeowners, designers, builders, industry, researchers, education providers, government, stakeholders, to collaborate towards achieving higher building standards for all New Zealand homes.

As part of the 2022 SUPERHOME Tours, three eHaus' will be open at various times over the weekend 24 & 25 September. Located in Hawke's Bay, Wairarapa and Cambridge this is is a self-guided tour at your leisure.

We’re exceptionally proud of our eHaus Waikato team who are multi regional award winners in the Registered Master Builders House of the Year competition for 2022!

They have won the Regional Category Winner for this beautiful property in Matangi in the Waikato along with the Regional Lifestyle- Sustainable and Environmental Award, plus Gold Awards x 2 with a second property judged in another category.
