Because of the elevated site this home has incredible views over Hatuma Lake and the surrounding rural landscape and on to the east coast. This is where attention to detail with the fabric of the building especially  airtightness really pays dividends. Every eHaus is tested at a pressure of 50 Pascals simulating a force 5 wind on the Beaufort scale. A wind like that would not be unusual in this location! The home has 3 bedrooms including the master, a lovely feature is the reading room a prefect place to curl up with a good book. "The property we bought to build our new house on it was extremely exposed, very windy and we knew that the eHaus was going to be the right one for our situation. Our experience was excellent from the moment we joined the information evening we got a lot of good information that helped us to decide to build with eHaus" Randall & Mary

FROM OUR CLIENTS

"The property we bought to build our new house on it was extremely exposed. The climate is horrendous and very windy, and we knew that the eHaus was going to be the right one for our situation. Our experience was excellent from the moment we joined the information evening, we got a lot of good information that helped us to decide to build with eHaus. We absolutely love our eHaus, it is just the best place to be living, it’s got a really different feel to it. We’re really loving being here."

— Randall and Mary Sherratt

Extraordinary heat energy savings.

Every one of our projects are energy modelled using the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP). It's through this powerfully clever tool that we can accurately calculate just how much heat energy every eHaus will save when compared to a similarly- sized typical new home, built in the same climate region.

This project is making significant carbon savings for a better environment.

We believe that our homes should have a big impact on the way we live, but little impact on the land. We've calculated the amount of carbon our homes have saved through energy efficiency from move in day 'til now. At their core, eHaus' are built with the elimination of carbon emissions in mind - so we're not only creating healthy, comfy & high performing homes, but spaces that don't cost the earth.
