Because of the elevated site this home has incredible views over Hatuma Lake and the surrounding rural landscape and on to the east coast. This is where attention to detail with the fabric of the building especially airtightness really pays dividends. Every eHaus is tested at a pressure of 50 Pascals simulating a force 5 wind on the Beaufort scale. A wind like that would not be unusual in this location! Every one of our projects are energy modelled using the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP). It's through this powerfully clever tool that we can accurately calculate just how much heat energy every eHaus will save when compared to a similarly- sized typical new home, built in the same climate region.
